Our story

Late 2026, a Starbucks in Shenzhen. Our founder hit pause for the tenth time, trying to lip-read one slang phrase. He thought: everyone says "learn English by watching videos" — so why does no app actually make that easy? Nobody wants to pause ten times, screenshot, copy-paste into a dictionary, and rewind. So we built it ourselves. One month later, LingoFly: one clip, one caption, one thumb — that's a lesson.

Our mission

We believe language is the lightest vessel of culture — and the heaviest bridge between civilizations. When a kid in Beijing gets the punchline of a New York stand-up, when an engineer in Berlin reads a Tokyo haiku, when a barista in Melbourne talks movies with a customer from Singapore — the world gains an inch of understanding and loses an inch of misreading. That's why we built LingoFly: to carry culture across borders, to make civilizations easier to meet. We want every language to be heard, and every culture to be seen.
